Growing Degree Day Maps for Kentucky Counties


Growing Degree Day Maps:

Users must select Ending Date and Growing Degree Day models.
The base temperatures and date for Calculating Growing Degree Days default to the numbers indicated.
The accumulated degree days will be calculated from date indicated in the form to the date you select.

Simply fill out the desired parameters then press the "Submit Choices" button.
Ending Date:
Growing Degree Days: Click on arrow to change planting date

*Ending Date: Starting from Jan. 01, 2013 to Yesterday
**The default base temperature is 50.
***For modified growing degree days......Low < 50F, Reset to 50F, Ceiling 86F.
