High temperatures averaged from 59.9 in the West to 56.5 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2.7 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 0.1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 40.0 degrees in the West to 29.5 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1.4 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 72.7 degrees at Johnson county and the extreme low was 19.0 degrees at Harlan county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.45 inches statewide which was 0.53 inches below normal and 46.0% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.77 inches, Central 0.42 inches, Bluegrass 0.25 inches and East 0.37 inches, which was 0.27, 0.61, 0.63 and 0.59 inches below normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0.11 inches at Clark county to a high of 1.04 inches at Harlan county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 30.2 degrees.
